Apple – The company of creativity ingeniousness which was being cursed from the past few days about their elite loops in their security in all their phases of application recently pledged a wider step for security improvement by adding 2-step authentication to i -message and facetime .As awaekinng call  Apple has improved the security of FaceTime and iMessage, its voice/video and multimedia chat communication tools. The services received two-factor authentication today as an option for users to enable, meaning that even if someone uses their Apple ID email and password to enable iMessage or FaceTime on a new device, they’ll still need to use a PIN from an existing trusted device to gain access to those services.which works by same procedure of Gmail 2 step authentication for E-mail.Your Apple ID is the key to many things you do with Apple,” according to the company’s support page for two-step verification. “It’s important that only you have the ability to access your account details, update your password, access the data you store and keep up to date with iCloud, or make iTunes and App Store purchases with your account. Two-step verification is a feature you can use to keep your Apple ID and personal information as secure  as possible.

what made Appple to awake their security process with 2- step add on-Remeber the biggest hack of 2014, yea yea i was talking about the icloud hack where private pictures of many celebrities were publicized who stored their pictures in icloud reaarding this Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company would take more steps to improve the security of its services. In addition to sending notifications to users whenever Apple detected that someone was trying to change the passwords to their accounts or log in with new devices, those steps would include broader use of two-factor authentication,According to Apple’s investigation of the iCloud photo incident, “certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions, a practice that has become all too common on the Internet. None of the cases we have investigated has resulted from any breach in any of Apple’s systems including iCloud or Find my iPhone.

How two step comes into play-Two-step comes into play when users log out of an account on their device and try to log back in, as well, meaning you’ll have to get that trusted device out should you temporarily disable your account on the device, or in some cases if you run a system update or switch SIMs.

This is a good step for Apple, and hopefully an indication that it intends to roll out two-step security to all of its services in good time.
